Privacy Policy
This policy explains what this website does and does not collect when you read it. The short version: we run an information site about the chicken roll game, we do not ask you to register, and we have no interest in building a profile of you.
What we do not collect
There are no accounts, no login forms, no newsletter sign-ups and no payment forms anywhere on this site. We do not ask for your name, phone number, address, date of birth, payment details or identity documents, and we have nowhere to store them if you sent them. We do not accept stakes or process transactions of any kind, so no financial data ever reaches us.
Server logs
Like any website, ours sits behind a web server that records standard technical entries for each request: an IP address, a timestamp, the page requested, an HTTP status code, and a browser user-agent string. These logs exist to keep the site running and to spot abuse such as scraping or attack traffic. They are not used to identify individual readers, they are not combined with any other data set, and they are rotated and discarded after a short retention period.
Cookies and local storage
The pages here are static and do not set advertising or tracking cookies of our own. Your browser may cache files to load pages faster, which is normal browser behaviour rather than data collection. You can clear that cache or block cookies entirely in your browser settings without losing access to anything on this site.
Third-party resources
Some pages load fonts, icon sets and script libraries from public content delivery networks, and a small number of illustrative images are hosted elsewhere. When your browser fetches such a file, the provider receives the technical request data described above — that is inherent to how the web works. We do not send those providers anything about you beyond the request itself, and we have no access to whatever logs they keep. If you follow an outbound link to a store, an operator or any other external service, that service's own privacy policy applies from the moment you arrive; ours stops at our last page.
Analytics
Where aggregate traffic measurement is used, it exists to answer dull questions — which pages get read, which are ignored, whether something is broken on mobile. It is not used to target you with advertising, and we do not sell, rent or trade traffic data.
Children
This site is intended for adults. The subject matter is unsuitable for minors, and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has sent us information through our contact address, write to us and we will delete it.
Your choices
Because we hold no account data, there is usually nothing personal to export or erase. If you have emailed us, you can ask us to delete that correspondence and we will. Depending on where you live you may also have rights of access, correction, erasure or objection under local data protection law — write to us and we will respond in line with the law that applies to you.
Security
The site is served over an encrypted connection and holds no user database, which removes most of what an attacker would want. No system is perfectly secure, but keeping almost nothing is the most effective protection available to a site like this one.
Changes to this policy
If our setup changes — a new analytics tool, a different host — we will update this page. The version published here is the current one.
